Open Question: What are the advantages and disadvantages of using goal setting? I have to write a massive essay on the advantages and disadvantages of goal setting - setting short term goals, setting medium term goals and setting long term goals.
So far, I can only think of one advantage - it would be motivating because you can see your improvements and track your progress which could lead to you being more confident.
Can anyone help me out? Name as many advantages and disadvantages as you can think of and explain them in as much detail as possible please!
Open Question: Whats the difference between Marshall 1959 SLP and the Marshall 1987XL? I am looking to buy a Marshall, and I really like the 59SLP since Clapton, Hendrix used them and I play a lot of Cream/Clapton stuff, blues, classic rock, and sometimes some heavier Halen stuff which I I know that he used a Marshall as well, but it comes down to these two amps and they look indentical and the SLP is 100 watts and the 87XL is 50 but other than that what is the main difference tone wise? Are they similar?

A friend of mine lives in California and wants to know how to go about stopping her cash aid benefits and just getting the full amount of the child support but still be able to receive food stamps. Her cash aid she receives every month is $450 + $50 in child support. If she just gets the child support and no cash aid; she would be getting $650 a month. She wants to know how (in California) to stop the cash aid benefits and start getting the child support benefits. Where does she go or if it is even possible.

Open Question: What is a good way to tame and make your hamster stop biting? I have had a winter white hamster since the 23rd of april this year and He is still not attracted to his chew toys. And how do i tame him? I have a mini nut knot nibbler for his chew toy and he is attracted to my finger? Like he nibbles or bites my finger. How do i make him think his chew toy is what he is suppose to use and also he nibbles on the cage bars sometimes. What does that mean?
Open Question: What is the difference between hot and cold compress therapies? I am a massage therapist and unfortunately I have been given widely varied opinions on when to use hot or cold for anything. My rule of thumb so far has been heat for relaxation and cold for recent or acute injury.

Open Question: What is the correct way to hold and finger a bass guitar? When i say hold, i mean do i keep my thumb on the back of the neck, or sorta peeking up over the side? and do i keep my palm on the neck or off. And when I finger it, what part of my finger do i press it with? the very tip of it the flattish side near the top. And when i play each note, do i squeeze the fret im hitting between my thumb and finger?
Open Question: How do I finish the wall and ceiling above the shower wall? We're redoing our shower walls and have installed the mold resistant dry wall and are about to put in the shower surrounds. I know which paints to use for the wall and ceiling above the shower but am not sure about texture. I'm worried if I apply a texture to the wall that water will be more likely to condense in places and it will be harder to clean. Suggestions? Thanks!
