As if hand-crafting costumes wasn't enough, for many attendees a ride to fantasyland needs the necessary wheels. Is this a blind date ride or what!I reconnected with many friends in the horror biz, to include actor/director/writer/producer Ford Austin. His latest offering is the comedic and over-the-top splatterfest, Dahmer vs Gacy. The movie includes a cameo appearance (as a rat-noshing homeless murder victim) by Del Howison, owner of Dark Delicacies. I've blogged about my comic book, Killing the Cobra, and so attended ComicFest to meet local vendors and other artists. Tue, 06/22/2010 - 11:45 — AnonymousAs most of you know, I've been homeschooling my kids for the past 2 years. Even though I'm about to send them off to public school in August, we're still working on finishing up this year of school work. That means lots and lots.... and lots of writing.
Finding pens and pencils that can keep up with the demands of writing and grading can be difficult. I hate the regular yellow pencils, because I can never, ever find a sharpener when I need them. And a red pen? It disappears every time I need to grade something. Every time! It's like the red-pen-eating goblins come out at night and steal all of my red pens.
Luckily, the Zebra Pen Corporation heard my prayers for good quality writing instruments at a price that won't leave me in the poor house, and answered them. They sent me a whole pack of goodies that included the Cadoozles Mechanical Pencils, the

The book called Speaking Up: the Sarah Palin Story will be published by Zondervan's ZonderKids line in September. The book's description says the Palin biography will discuss how her faith in God and family support helped her run for Vice President and follow her dreams.
As a child growing up amidst the harsh beauty of Alaska, Sarah Palin sought to find her purpose in life.
